I would not recommend Abel's to anyone. I took my truck in for a screechy belt. They replaced my water pump, two idler pulleys and my engine coolant. $400 labor, $750 total. When I went to pick up the truck, the mechanic said it was leaking after it was all put back together so he wanted to keep the truck overnight to be sure that it was not leaking anymore. I didn't come in with it leaking. Damage happened during the repair job. I was assured the next morning upon picking up the truck that the leak was fixed. It wasn't. Over the period of 24 hours, all of the coolant leaked out. I took it back to have it properly fixed and the owner wanted to charge me for fixing his error. I was charged again for refilling all of the lost engine coolant and hose replacement and after arguing about it, he tried to charge an additional $300 labor for fixing his error! And to boot, one of the mechanics physically pushed me trying to provoke a fist fight! They held my truck hostage, blocking it in with another truck and removing the battery until I paid them. No way would I recommend Abel's to anyone, ever. No way. Find another mechanic. They will not take responsibility for their mistakes, they will charge you for the errors and tell you lies to cover up the mess. When I tried to call to pick up the truck all of my calls were ignored! Horrendous service. Don't go here. You have been properly warned. Find yourself an honest mechanic. Reading the reviews, all they appear good at is roadside tire service. I wouldn't even recommend them for that after what I went through here. Update less than 24 hours later: Just when I thought this horrendous experience was over with, my truck overheated on the highway. There was no coolant in the reservoir that they charged me twice for!! They didn't fill it hot. They didn't allow it to burp. I was lucky enough to have a friend see me on the side of the highway. They took me to a gas station where I bought three gallons of water. The coolant reservoir took the entire three gallons of water! The entire three gallons! Abel's is not able. They are the worst Service: General repairs & maintenance
