This place should have been condemned a long time ago. Roach infestations unsanitary.

I stayed here with my cousin for a few nights following a very long drive. We knew from reading reviews and looking online that this wasn't going to be a glamorous hotel, and we were fine with that. We just needed somewhere to sleep and the prices were good. Yes, the place is kinda dirty, outdated and could really use a good cleaning-at least someone to vacuum the halls once in a while. Yes, there might be some cockroaches and some cigarette smells. So if those things bother you- I wouldn't book here. But I feel like you should read reviews before you book a hotel stay and if you don't- that's on you! I understand why some people would be grossed out- but it takes a lot to bother me and a couple dead cockroaces isn't going to shake me too much, but yes they should clean a little better. It's not like they're crawling all over the place or anything, but still. Our room was pretty clean, however. More clean than the hallways and the outside. The parking lot and entrance was hard to find- especially at night. There's not much to draw you to it, but it is in a great location and my Lord if Gordon Ramsay could come fix this place up, it could be a serious gold mine! It's right next to a big gas station with food and a jack in the box, and the town is right there and has tons of shops. So everything you need is close by. But as it sits right now, this hotel is a simple spot to rest your bones with friendly people. The other guests were kind. the staff were beyond friendly and helpful, and honestly it felt like I wasn't that far from home! I would absolutely stay here again. Rooms: The rooms are very simple. Yeah, a little bit outdated but honestly not bad. They were pretty clean and have everything you need. Nearby activities: There is a gas station and a jack in the box within walking distance which is nice. I think a gym too. You are also right in the city and can see all the shops from the parking lot, and there are a ton of them! So it's a good spot for shopping, eating etc. Safety: There seems to be a reputation about this place due to its location, but I'm not from this area. I can see why people talk, but at the same time I think we shouldn't judge before we see things for ourselves. I felt safe, I'm a middle age woman. Noteworthy details: The staff were very kind. They felt like friends and they were very helpful. If you're expecting luxury- don't stay here, but if you're okay with a laid back atmosphere that's a little rough around the edges, this is the spot for you.
