I can't speak highly enough of our two-day fly fishing adventure with Eric. My 13-yr-old son and I were complete beginners, but Eric had us trained in a matter of minutes. He was masterful at putting us in the exact right spots for the perfect drift. We were reeling in the 'bows and brownies in no time. He was the perfect guide for us, and we'll be back without a doubt.

Had many fruitful fishing trips with Eric. He is an intense guide and wants fish in the net for his clients, but will carefully measure the clients skills and experience to ensure an awesome and productive trip. I highly recommend Eric and his new fishing venture Prairie Smoke Outfitters.

Have fished with Eric now for 4 summers and a fall trip on the Missouri River. Very well versed on any river weve fished and his goal is for you to catch fish all while making the day enjoyable. Excellent teacher as well if you are not an experienced fly fisherman. Hes developed my now 15 yr old son into an above average fisherman. I have so many amazing stories with Eric and I cant recommend him enough. Hes very patient as well and excellent with kids who want to learn the game.
