Dave's Custom Exhaust & Muffler

Gave me 100 excuses and rescheduled my appointment 5 times but he still did not do the job, terrible service and terrible place to take your vehicle.

Dave was great to work with, and did high quality work on our RV. Yes, it took a bit of time, but Dave was friendly and more than accommodating with our 33' RV taking up his entire parking lot, our 3 children and our 3 dogs hanging out in his lot until the job was complete. The work was top notch, and based on the quality of the work, I would let Dave work on any vehicle I own and drive. I understand previous reviews, and I salute Dave for addressing them, but if you are not in a hurry, and you want quality work done to your vehicle by a great guy, go to Dave. If you're in a hurry and want shoddy work, there are plenty of other places to choose from. Service: Exhaust

The first time I took my truck to Dave, I needed to have two exhaust leaks fixed, the muffler hangers replaced, and two and a half inch tailpipes installed. To his credit the tailpipes looked very nice except he installed two and a quarter inch tail pipes. He didn’t fix the exhaust leaks nor did he repair or replace the muffler hangers.The most frustrating part of the ordeal was my appointment was for 10:00 AM and come 4:30 he still hadn’t touched my truck. I had to work the next day, so I took my truck home with the job only partially done. The next day, I made an appointment with another exhaust shop to fix what Dave failed to complete. A few days passed by and I suddenly got a long text message from Dave full of excuses and weak apologies. Unfortunately I fell for it and gave Dave another chance. This time I just wanted a completely new system, front to back. I ordered the mufflers I wanted and when they came in, I scheduled the appointment to have Dave do it. He assured me I wouldn’t regret it. I told him I would drop it off the night before the appointment and would pick it up in the afternoon. I sent Dave a message telling him where I left the keys to which he replied that he would get it done. Well, I went down to pick up my truck at about 4:15 and he hadn’t touched it. In fact, he wasn’t even there, the shop was closed. I called him and he said it was another crazy day and he was just about to start on it. He asked that I give him until 7:00pm to finish. When 7:00 rolled around, I went to go pick it up and he still hadn’t touched it. As I was talking to a friend that was giving me a ride to Dave’s shop, he assured me the truck still wasn’t done. Apparently Dave has a habit of doing this to people. Hopefully, this will save someone else the headache and inconvenience that comes with his unprofessional work ethic. Service: Exhaust
