Dr. Paul Miller, Spine Surgeon

I have known Dr. Miller since college and he has always worked hard and genuinely cared for people. He has made an astonishing orthopedic doctor.

Dr Miller gave me a ALIF in July. He said my pain may be reduced and to give it a full year to see the maximum result. After 5 months my life has been totally changed for the better. My chronic pain has reduced by 85%, I can walk a fair distance now where I couldnt get 50 yards before. I take a Tylenol at night where before I was taking all kinds of stuff just to get through the day. I owe Dr Miller big for giving my life back. Him and his staff are well worth seeing if your back problems have advanced to the point that the chronic pain has taken over your life.

After I suffered from 6 months of moderate to severe back pain that was unresponsive to multimodality conservative management, Dr. Miller performed a minimally invasive repair of a herniated lumbar intervertebral disc. The 1.5 hr. outpatient procedure was performed at the Great Falls Clinic Hospital, and I was discharged home 2 hours later feeling no pain (with only a 2 inch long incision). Dr. Miller is a talented and personable board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in back surgery. He has both the specialized training and experience to optimize care for patients with back problems. He is a very busy man, so I had to first see his physician's assistant. I had to wait longer than I wanted to see Dr. Miller, but I'm glad I chose him as my surgeon. By the time I had disc surgery my painful herniated disc had also caused in weakness in one leg, but that is slowly responding to physical therapy post-operatively. My advice (as a physician myself) is to given conservative management a few months to work, but if you have developed significant back pain that has robbed you of your enjoyment in life, don't wait too long to make an appointment with Dr. Miller!
