      image We were on our way home back to Canada. Pulling a fifth wheel trailer. Just outside of Great Falls. We lost a tire and rim. We called Fleet truck and RV repair and they accommodated us immediately. They had to replace the drum and bearings and within 2 1/2 hours we were fixed and on the road again. Excellent service had a reasonable price.

      They just want to rip off custumers for everything and come up with extra work to get as much $ as possible.The situation is as follows: the tire of the trailer was burst and the airbag on the trailer was damaged. It was agreed that the mechanic would come and change the air bag plus the tire (we had a used spare tire under the trailer) for around $800. He came to change the airbag, and said that he can't change the tire on the road because he has no tools to replace it and he has to go to his shop to do it for an extra $600. We agreed. after he came back to his shop, called and told us that our tire is bad because it is a used one, steer tire and he can't put it on.He didn't mention that, when he came in and saw the tire. Then he offered his tire, which was an extra $900. In the end, replacement of the airbag and tire did cost us about $3000. Huge unnecessary over charging was done here!!! Stay away from this shop as much as possible!!!!!

      Hello David, While we carry a lot of tools to provide roadside assistance and repairs, we unfortunately do not have the space to properly carry the necessary tire replacement tools in our service truck. That cannot be done on the side of the road. Being 25 miles away with 4 total trips there and back and the duration of the day our team spent with you to ensure we could get you safely back on the road all contributed to the legitimate cost. We were called at 8am and were on the road to you by 8:15am spending several hours providing thorough service.The spare tire provided was not the same size to fit the trailer axle so we had to suggest you purchase a new one that would actually get you back on the road. Every service and hour spent on your trailer we were happy to provide and only charge according to parts and labor required.
