Contacted TruGreen on 7/28/22 to request a notification in advance when their technicians would be arriving at my house. I was then told they would have to talk directly to the owner of the company. I know several people that get text & e-mail notifications so I did not think to much about it. They contacted me on 7/29/22 and refused to send me these notifications that are very clearly available to their customers, due to the fact that my dog is not outside all day long. I made the comment that if I could not recieve a simple text or email notification that I would no longer do business with TruGreen. It is a very simple task to ask, especially where the service is clearly available. Very disappointed at the customer service I was provided. I canceled my services on the spot due to them refusing to send me any prior notifications. They would rather lose business than send a simple text or e-mail. i would encourage anyone looking for lawn care assistance to avoid TruGreen. in the past year i have had a few unpleasant experiences with not only their lawn service, but with their customer service as well. on two different occasions after an application was completed there were obvious signs of spillage leading to dead patches of grass, and there was zero accountability and no effort was made to compensate or repair the damaged grass. in addition to the damages, i made a call in the Spring to pause service due to a change of employment and would be out of state for several weeks. they ignored this request and apparently sprayed my lawn in my absence and without permission. there was no reciept and no yard sign was left, fast forward to March of this year and i recieved a call from a lady at the office stating that they had never received a payment for this alleged application. i asked her to send me a bill and i would take care of it, just to put the matter behind me. yesterday i received a letter from a local collection agency requesting payment. this is very unprofessional and unethical way of conducting business and i would encourage anyone looking for lawn service to seek a different provider for their lawn care needs.
