I am extremely disappointed in our block of rooms that took place on March 9, 2024. I signed a contract with the manager about my block of rooms and discussed all of the details. The rooms were supposed to be for a one-night stay or two nights if the guests needed to stay two nights. I had to call and fix a reservation right away because had told a guest it was a mandatory two-night stay. I called and the manager apologized and fixed it for me. The manager then emailed me and said that I had not signed a contract and that the contract would not be honored unless I signed it. I had already emailed them the contract and they had lost it, so I had to resend it. We then had other guests complain about the fact that they could not book a room because it was a mandatory two-night stay when in fact the manager had emailed me and verified that it was not a two-night stay. The week of our wedding, I received a confirmation about a hotel room for a guest that was completely wrong and I had to call and change it for the guest. Upon calling, there were several other problems. The night before our wedding an alarm when off in the room next to us at 1:00 in the morning that would not stop going off. I called down to the front desk twice with no answer. I had to go to the front desk to have the lady come up to shut off the alarm. It took her until 1:30 to shut the alarm off. In all I had to contact the hotel at least six times to fix things for our guests and still found out that many of our other guests went to other hotels because they were told it was a mandatory two-night stay. Other guests told us that they were not happy with their stay at this location also. As the Bride involved in the whole situation, I find it absolutely ridiculous that the most stressful part of my wedding was my wedding room block at the hotel. I have never heard of anybody else stressing over the block of rooms they reserved. I feel terrible for my guests and also for the guests that had to book other hotels because your staff did not honor the contract the way it was discussed.

We have stayed at Best Western pluses before? I just called this one because we were going to Grand Island and want to know if they were pet friendly which they were not so we did not stay here with the other ones have been fine. And besides that, the price was about $30 a night higher than the sleep inn choice privileges hotel that we stayed at which is pet friendly. And we have stayed here before and always had very good luck. We like to travel with our puppy so that's why we go here. Noteworthy details: Keep in mind this Best Western Plus is not pet friendly, so if you're traveling with a pet, don't plan on staying here.
