My husband and I had the BEST experience with THI Builders! The building process was explained thoroughly. We were treated with kindness and respect during the entire process. They were always responsive to our questions and concerns, and did their best to ensure our satisfaction. We have a beautiful home and we couldnt be happier!

We had a great experience building our custom home with THI Builders. From start to finish the communication for designing the home went smoothly. Our numerous changes and alterations were all incorporated and done correctly. Numerous questions and tweaks were required during the build and Molly and Kory took care of everything. We have been in the home about two weeks and the house is wonderful. It is quiet and comfy. The perfect home!

I had vinyl siding installed on the house and detached garage. Sonia and her crew did an excellent job. They answered all questions that I had and replaced all rotted wood that I had under the old siding. This vinyl siding is much better than the original vinyl I had on the house. Our home was the first of this model THI built from Epcon Communities. We later found out that after our home was built, we were no longer a part of Epcon Communities. THI had just purchased the rights to build the models. I spoke multiple times to Paul Hanson at Epcon Communities regarding our concerns. He told me the only thing he could was to suggest to THI to contact us. If it were not for the view of the lake from our front porch and the wonderful neighbors we have, we would have sold and moved on. We have spent thousands of dollars to bring our home up to what we thought our luxury home was going to be. This does not include cosmetic work such as wallpaper, drapery, etc.. We were surprised in the added charge on most of the finishes we chose as these homes were advertised as "Luxury Homes". The problems started with the relator from EXP who represented THI. We were given flyers that stated "included features" of our home at the time of signing the contract. Later when I questioned THI regarding some of the included features that were not followed through with, THI's comment was "she (the relator) is no longer with us". We do not see where that makes THI any less liable for advertisements EXP made on their behalf. One example was the in the included features and an email from an employee at THI with pictures, stated we would have a fence around the courtyard, and I was informed by an employee at THI the mowers would not mow inside the fence which later I found out from our HOA representee that was not factual. I then asked for a credit on the fence and in the end, so that we could close on time we agreed to a $500 courtesy credit offered by THI for the fence and was told by THI the fence should not have been in the advertisement. Our furnace was used to keep the house warm during the drywall process which was in the winter. There was not a door between the garage and the house and there was no weather strip on the garage door. Our furnace ran nonstop and could not get above 58 degrees. The wind is very strong up here, with nothing in front of us but the lake. I asked for a door to be put on which was, but it had holes for the hardware. I asked for the weather strip to be put on the garage door and called the garage company and they stated they finally got it in stock and agreed to install it. When the garage door company called to let THI know they were doing it THI refused to let them and sent me a text stating it would be put on when the opener was installed. After being used to warm the house and getting drywall dust all over in the furnace and in the duct work it was not cleaned as stated in the warranty manual of the furnace. When I told THI this they said it had been cleaned but that they do not clean the duct work. When I asked why we did not have a tray ceiling in the bedroom I was told they did not do this on our model by THI, but two other models just like ours had them and when I asked the owners if they requested a tray ceiling in the bedroom, they said no it was just done that way. We were very disappointed in the quality of workmanship from the interior painting, having all of our LVP torn up and replaced after we had moved in, electrical issues, water drainage issues outside, insulation, HVAC, concrete and other big-ticket items. Many neighbors have had some of the same issues. Along with them we have gotten to the point where we pay to have issues taken care of out of our own pockets.
