I used John from Perry L. Demma CPA this year for my taxes, we were supposed to get a tax credit but when John submitted it he did not submit the proper years form or the substantiating documents required for that tax credit. After I discovered that the state changed our return to reflect not getting the credit I went in to talk to John and was told that I had to figure out why the state didnt like it, so I called the state and figured out why. Then I called John back and was told that I need to fix it myself. So I found the proper form and substantiating documents and as I was filling it out I noticed several typos on the one that John filled out. To sum up this review, I would not trust John to teach my kids basic arithmetic let alone my taxes. I do not like the fact that I paid John to mess up my taxes that I then have to go and fix, and I fixed it and got the money that I was supposed to. Next year I plan on doing my taxes myself so that if I mess it up I didnt pay someone else to mess it up and then have to fix it myself anyway.
