CHI Health Clinic Birth Center (Lincoln)

I received great care during my pregnancies for both of my boys. The midwife staff are knowledgable and kind. They care about how you are doing and want you to have the best prenatal and birth experience possible. I'm very happy I switch from an OB office to the birth center. I decided to have my babies at the hospital just for peace of mind but was very happy to have all natural births with the help of the midwives. I highly recommend this clinic!

I used the midwives for all 3 of my babies. I loved the Centering Pregnancy program for prenatal visits and their wholistic approach to pregnancy and delivery. I delivered 3 giant babies after long, difficult labors (especially my first), and I have no doubt that I would have had c-sections had it not been for my midwife. She was at the hospital shortly after I arrived and stayed until I delivered. Even though I'm done having kids, I continue to see my midwife for my annual exams. I couldn't recommend them more!

Not impressed. The care is very lacking. I brought up se serious concerns about depression that were completely overlooked while other things that weren't even a real issue were focused on. I basically cried out for help with no results and have been struggling with some pretty bad suicidal thoughts alone. Why even make me answer so many questions about the depression if we aren't going to look at ways of managing it?

I birthed my third child here and I loved my experience. They were experienced, talked with me about options, and made me feel empowered in my birth.

Some really awesome aspects here. The only change I would make would be to promote more continuity across the board to make sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes there were so many "cooks in the kitchen" that there was some conflicting information and lost details. Overall, a very caring place. The ultrasound person is awesome, second to none.
