Spent over 45 minutes on hold and ended up hanging up and cancelling my order. This place is a waste of time and customer service is a joke. Dont plan on calling them because they will not answer. Just go to Ulta.

I had a horrible experience with Sephoras credit card program (online), however the assistant manager and and another employee at Lincoln South were amazing. They really fought my corner and did all they could to still make my visit a pleasant one. Their customer service was exceptional and they truly take care of their guests.

I used to love Sephora and the only reason I would shop there and pay a price premium on a product that is cheaper elsewhere is the quality of customer service I would receive from the friendly and knowledgeable team members at the store. It was these same team members that advised me in several other store locations to look in the bin drawers beneath the product display to see if a product was in stock if I didnt see it available on the shelf (especially during a busy day when there is not anyone immediately around to assist). While I was doing this at this store location in Lincoln, NE I was unfairly accosted by an associate who first asked what I was looking for and after explaining I was just trying to see if they had this one product in stock proceeded to lecture me about not opening the drawers and how it is against their policy. I was fine with this and proceeded to apologize as I did not know this as I was in fact advised to do just this by previous employees in the past. Instead of just leaving it there as a misunderstanding or even attempting to offer to place an order for me for the product I was looking for, she then proceeded to accuse me of trying to steal from them making a point to show off the security cameras and saying that it looks like [I was] trying to steal. I have worked in retail and customer service for years. Number one rule is to never accuse someone of stealing since that is one slander and two based off unconfirmed bias, especially if you did not see them commit the act. I understand she may have been thinking this or may had had concerns. But she did not need to voice these concerns in such an accusing manner. I tried to give her this feedback and she did not care listen nor was she curious, she just kept reiterating that she would continue to do this for both of our safety. The accusation was unfounded and unneeded. I have never felt so unwelcome before in an establishment I have been a patron of for over 20 years and for the first time I do not wish to ever go back. I do not recommend this store - the employees are not curious nor helpful. The shelves of product are all gross, unkempt, never stocked, and now forbid you check to see if they have stock and you can forget getting anyone to help you. Save your money and buy elsewhere (way cheaper online). Fun fact, I walked over to Ulta next door where I was not accused of stealing and made my purchase there. The staff there is way friendlier and the shelves cleaner and well stocked.
