Nebraska Bank of Commerce

Was told by the downtown branch that they would no longer be open on Saturday, but their south branch would be open. Drove there to find out that only the drive thru is open. The employee was rude and unhelpful. I tried to find a local bank, but now I need to continue to look for another bank.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a home and had the opportunity to work with Jo Lewis, a Senior Mortgage Officer. We could not recommend her enough and are SO thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her and NBC in general throughout the entire process! This is a fanatic bank.  The staff was very friendly and extremely laid back.  They sounded like real genuine people when I came to cash s simple check.  They did not try to up sell me on useless products or services. It was a painless in and out service.

When it came to considering a new banking relationship, I had really been dragging my feet.  No one really wants to go through the hassle of changing all bills, deposits, etc.  The final straw for me was the countless times I had called Wells Fargo customer service regarding an account issue.  They would get me an answer, then I would physically go into a branch, and a personal banker would give me a different answer.  I was completely burned out and tired of dealing with over sized banks trying to sell me products. I want one person who knows me, knows my account, and I can call or email any time with a question.  Based on all of these frustrations and needs, I decided to open a deposit account at the downtown NBC branch.I met with Joel, the personal banker, who was available immediately.  I believe the entire process of opening an account took about fifteen minutes.  He offered to set up my online banking with me, gave me his card to call or email any time, and when I received my debit card, I contacted him and he personally activated it for me.  I really enjoyed talking with someone, instead of a scripted encounter, and even though the process of moving bills, etc, can seem overwhelming, the bank has really reached out to to help in anyway possible.  I'm excited to be a valued customer to them and not just another way to make a sale.
