Dr. Cassidy Mitchell did a phenomenal job on my surgery! I had a fat grafting/fat transfer from one of my thighs to glutes due to an overdosed steroid shot given at an urgent care in 2022. The shot was administered in my upper glute/hip area and over the course of 2 years it formed a dent and ate my scar tissue and fat. With this being a very rare procedure, Dr. Mitchell nailed it. He was so reassuring with how worried I was at this surgery and answered all of my questions. I did not want to live with a huge dent in my butt forever with how young I still am. Very pleased with my results, and I 100% recommend Dr. Mitchell, he and all of his staff were so helpful!!

When I heard I needed a bilateral mastectomy I was shocked. Dr Mitchell is an amazing surgeon who performed the surgery and reconstruction. The results are wonderful! He always said to call any time I had questions or concerns. When I needed to call, he responded promptly and kindly. He and Nurse Kelsey are an incredible team. I highly recommend him. I am blessed and grateful for his top notch skills.

Dr. Mitchell botched my lower blepharoplasty. One droopy eye and the other pulled tighter and made smaller, and upper lids pulled down into the corners. I now have asymetrical eyes and both need surgery. They both just look like I'm very tired and almost angry. I had eyes that were beautifully shaped prior to this and very symetrical. I just wanted the lower bags removed. I have gone to two Oculoplastic surgeons and now they have to repair the damage. I had horribly drooping lower lids after surgery. The incisions and suturing was alarming! I was NEVER told at the consult that it is common to have your eye lids hanging open, pulled down and away from your eyes after surgery. I was told by his nurse AFTER the surgery that 85% of all patients look like me after surgery. That was a lie! One eye had a zig-zag incision and suturing and the other even missing a suture, leaving the incisions to over-lap leaving a ridge of skin on my left eye. At my two day post-op, I was concerned and had it brought to his attention the over-lapped, missed suture and over-lapped corners of my eyes where he sutured horribly. He barely looked at them and from a few feet away just said to "give it time to heal". I guess missed sutures are no big deal. That was his pat answer to me about ALL my concerns.....to just "give it time", "let it heal" and "keep pushing" on my lower lids. He told me I have "zero patience". The scar where a suture was missed is VERY visible and people who know me (but weren't aware of my surgery) have asked if I had recently injured my eye because it's such a terrible scar that I didn't have prior. He even left a good deal of fat he didn't remove on my left eye. The other eye has been left with pimple-like bump scars due to how he did a saw-tooth incision and then suturing where the skin was all pulled tightly and bunched together into bumps instead of a smooth suture line. (I have lots of photos ). I also told him that my vision is being affected by all the pushing on my eyes and moving them all day. That my eyes can't focus now but he also didn't seemed concerned and was dismissive. He DID offer canthoplasty to me at one of my visits to repair the damage he did but why would I let him try to fix his own surgery he botched? If he wasn't skilled enough to do the surgery correctly, how can he fix something he so badly botched? After visiting two Oculoplastic surgeons, canthoplasty won't repair the damage long term anyway. I need, in simple terms, a lift where they have to graft tissue from my palate or lips in order to raise my eyes back up and it won't completely repair how far down he pulled the corners of my eyes. The cost for the surgery is $35,000! They will try to work with me to lower that cost but I can't afford it. And they also said this is a very "difficult surgery" to repair all the damage done. The cost of the surgery is depressing and I don't have the money. So now I have to look like this, be depressed, embarrassed and extremely self-conscious of how I look the rest of my life. I'm just devastated. I cry all the time. Had I known there was such a thing as an Oculoplastic surgeon to begin with, I would have chosen one since they don't do all kinds of plastic surgery like Mitchell but specialize in just the eyes. If you are considering ANY kind of plastic surgery from this man, I would highly suggest you go to a specialist or risk the chance of having a botched surgery by him. He is certainly not skilled enough at this surgery and should not be allowed to perform it. I have to live with my regret every day of my life. Beware.

My GP told me hes the only plastic surgeon in Lincoln I should go to because hes the best. My consultation appointment lasted two hours only because he sat with me and told me all the risks of the procedure. His nurse was wonderful. She made me feel like I could tell her anything. Very kind. Dr. Mitchell performed a breast reduction on my friend and the before and after are astonishing, beautiful work. I will update my review after my procedure in January, but based on my consultation appointment and the recommendation from my friend, I feel like I can trust Dr. Mitchell. 2/12/23 - update Procedure complete one month ago. Dr. Mitchell is an artist. If you are looking to have one of the procedures he specializes in, you would be mistaken to go to Omaha because Dr. Mitchell will do it better. Insurance and money aside, he will get the job done and he will do an amazing job at it. He and Kelsey were upfront about what to expect and it was accurate. The staff at the surgery center was also wonderful. Kelsey is one of the nicest people Ive met. Dr. Mitchell is kind and takes his work very seriously. I recommend to friends and strangers. I am so happy with how I look. Smile.

Worst surgeon in Lincoln, NE. If you have ANY OTHER OPTION PLEASE GO. He has no respect or level of care for his patients. He seems to only care if you have money. A family member had issue after issue and MULTIPLE other surgeons had to fix his mistake, when we approached him at his office, he turned his back and walked away from us. Even his staff said hes like that and he has attitude issues. If youre going to be working with people ON people you need to care or at least pretend to care. Mentioning his name to other doctors and surgeons in the area know of him and know he causes issue and doesnt take care of his patients. If other doctors say bad things about you, thats obviously not a good sign or good business practice. She almost died from this botched surgery and I really wish suing was an option. If you have the money to look elsewhere please do. Im not sure why all these reviews are so good and high, he must be removing the bad ones. This could have been cleared up SO easily. If he just could be an adult and face his mistakes instead of running away and having other more experienced surgeons fix his mess!! Would give negative 2 stars if possible. Being kind can get you a far ways but you have unfortunately caused a lot of extra pain and health issues for someone who came to you to better their life and health. Which is not fair or right. If you dont like people dont work in the health field.
