Honestly, you get what you pay for. For $50-60 a night, walk in with 0 expectations. Be forewarned, this is a franchised location, and DO NOT expect corporate Wyndham service. Or any service whatsoever honestly. Here are the takeaways: CONS: - Staff are non-existent and unhelpful. I waited for about 10 minutes to check in, ringing the bell multiple times and even calling out quite loudly to say that I was there to check in. Only after the staff member came out of the bathroom, the attitude and body language said loud and clear that I was a bother to be there and they were pissed that they even had to deal with me. - No regular services were available. No listed amenities outside of the room were available and it looks like they havent been operational in years. If you need ANYTHING, youll be going to the gas station or elsewhere. Also, to reiterate, dont rely on the staff to do anything, or even be there. - The Room. Dark, stale, and outdated. The toilet seat is permanently stained yellow from years of use and was so loose the two of us were afraid to sit down fearing it would slide off. The bathtub caulk and tiles are cracking, discolored from hard water stains and black from older bouts of mold and coming away from the wall, which is causing god knows how much damage to the wood and plaster behind. It also allows ants to come in. The wallpaper is coming loose, the door in our room didnt seal all the way allowing a constant draft in, the air conditioner/heating unit worked but the buttons and cover were broken and cracked, you get the idea PROS: - The Bed. While I cant attest for how clean it actually was, the mattress was very comfy and I slept very well! - Location (kinda). Yes, its right near the highway, but so are all of the other accommodations in the area. - The Price. You wont find cheaper, but at what cost? Honestly, there are only 2 scenarios for why this Travelodge is so poorly ran and in such a state of disrepair: a) the franchisee doesnt have the money for upkeep, which is disappointing, but should also signal that they should consider selling. Or b) they genuinely dont care, which is even worse and they should equally consider selling for that reason.

I'd give zero if I could. Worst service ever. These people at the front desk are genuinely bad people, rude, lazy, etc. I could go on. Just complete scum bags. It caught me off guard their lack of dignity and sense of upholding a brand name as I thought it would be a decent stay. Couldn't wait to leave. Horrible. Stay away until they get new management.

Where to start. Arrive at 6:50pm to check in. Noone at front desk but there are two bells. I ring them, several times over the next 10 minutes. I call my wife, who verified our reservation address. I call the number posted for the motel, the desk phone rings to no avail. I call the reservation number, and they try to call. Same desk phone rings with no answer. She patches me to Wyndham Customer Care and they started a claim. While on hold with them, the front desk guy peeks in the back door, wide eyed, and goes back outside to come in a door behind the office. He comes to the front desk and acts like he has been there and told me I should have rung the bell. Anyway, almost 45 minutes after arrival, I get my room. The room is clean enough, and everything seems fine. My son turns on the tv, and there is only the guide channel and nothing else. I call the front desk, and again, no one answers. I drive to the front, remote in hand, and ring the bells, slam the back door, etc, and he appears like a genie out of a bottle. He then tells me that there is only Firestick tv. I ask him if that is something that he hands out or how I go about getting it from him. He says it is only for the single bed rooms, not doubles, and that we will not have tv in our room. So, I called Wyndham again, and they made me a reservation for Days Inn, right around the corner, where I was greeted by a friendly crowd of elderly skiers and a front desk person that was very helpful. I checked out within 1 hour from the Travelodge, and hopefully my refund shows up... Its not the worst place I've stayed, but dang its close.
