Had a life insurance check from my father who passed away. It was a chase bank check. Took it to thus location to cash it. The lady at the teller window who claimed to be the manager on duty said the account had a restriction on it and the company that issued the check wouldn't allow for check over $5,000.00 to be cashed. After sitting in the lobby for 45+ minutes with the life insurance company, and verifying with 3 different people that this wasn't the case. The lady then claimed a different reason for not being able to cash the check, stating it was a Chase policy. I've done business with other banks in the area and have never heard of such a thing or had issues with banks cashing checks that were issued from them. The gal was very rude, had different reasons for not doing it and caused a huge waste of my time that day. Upon asking around and talking with people I know and doing some research on Chase this doesn't sound like an isolated incident. Went to another branch to cash it, they had no issues doing it but didn't have the money on hand to be able to cash it. Mind you this check was a bit over $10,000. To have such inconsistencies and rules from branch to branch makes it seem they just do as they wish. Wouldn't recommend doing business with Chase.

I visited on July 11th, around lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and welcoming service I received as a walk-in customer. The staff greeted me right away with their friendly and energetic demeanor. My transaction, which involved changing my PIN code and making a deposit, was completed in just five minutes. The efficiency and professionalism displayed by the staff made my experience truly exceptional. I highly recommend this place for their outstanding service.
