The negima and buta were delicious! The chasu buns had too much sauce that overwhelmed the whole dish and the Omaha Crunch Roll was fine. I was surprised at how many items were unavailable since it required a reservation to get in. The service is unenthusiastic but not bad. Overall could be better but nothing was glaringly bad.

My wife and I checked out Koji last week for a special occasion, and we had a fantastic time! This cozy izakaya-style restaurant serves up delicious sushi, yakitori, and Japanese small plates that really hit the spot. We loved the seaweed salad and the chasu buns with pork belly. The mariwase yakitori was a real treat, especially the juicy chicken meatballs and the flavorful pork belly. The Hamapon cold plate with yellowtail, orange, and serrano was super refreshing, and the Grogus hot plate with crispy brussel sprouts and blueberry nuoc mam sauce was a unique and tasty combo. Of course, we had to try some sushi too! The uni nigiri was delicious, and the Kobayashi Maru maki roll with smoked salmon, spicy crab, and broccolini was our favorite, especially when dipped in the amazing crab butter ponzu. The friendly staff and cozy vibe at Koji made our evening extra special. If you're in the mood for some seriously good izakaya food, definitely give Koji a try! Vegetarian options: There are very few vegetarian or vegan options.
