Urgent Pet Care West

My 2 year old cat managed to get an object stuck in her small bowel. She had symptoms for a week of pancreatitis and just no answers. They took us late on a Friday and got my girl into surgery right away. Saved her life and its only one week later and she is back to her feisty self! I cant thank all the staff enough. The text updates and ability to text to check in on my cat was just something I havent seen elsewhere and it kept me calm. One staff member also prayed for my girl over the phone with me. Im not religious myself, but I believe in sending out positivity and kindness. I cant recommend them enough.

Thank you for your empathy, warmth and professionalism this morning taking care of Blackstone. You provided him with the last act of kindness when our beloved cat's old body was giving up on him. The past 24 hours were hard on him and he was deteriorating quickly. I didn't want him hurting any longer and your clinic being open on Sunday made it so he did not have to. From the front desk, techs and vet you were all so amazing and patient even through my tears on the phone. He was not just a cat but part of our family and especially my Mom's little shadow. Again, thank you for your compassionate care at this time.

These people are wonderful, the Doctor that examined my cat was very caring, professional, and informative. The staff were just wonderful. And they got me an appointment right away. I had to make a hard decision about my cat, and I can't think of a better place I could have done so. Thank you everyone.

I foster, and I've taken numerous dogs and cats to Urgent Pet Care since Dr. Starks opened her much-needed clinic. They have always received exceptional care, and been treated gently and respectfully, as have I. UPC triages their clients, so the most urgent cases are seen most quickly, which I truly appreciate when I've taken in animals bleeding or in shock. UPC has the skills to rapidly assess the animal's needs and has the equipment available to provide immediate needed care. I not only recommend UPC, I pass out their business cards to my dog class students in case they have an emergency. UPC does not take the place of my regular veterinarians, but works with them to provide excellent care. Their charges are extremely reasonable for the services provided.
