We were referred to Home Matters by a family member who had their basement finished. We were looking for a main bathroom remodel. Disappointed client. We signed a design contract after meeting the owner. We were looking to have a main floor remodel of our ranch style home. After a few meetings it was negotiated with business owners and the designer that we would drop some of our requested items and up our budget a little for them to feel comfortable going forward with the design. Once the contractor did their walk through to put together their bids, we received a message with a link to their proposed contract for completing the work. The price was 65% higher than the agreed budget that they stated they felt comfortable with. They did not provide a line item cost breakdown or attempt any communication as to why the price was so high. Additionally, the bulleted list of the work in the contract still had errors. We chose to decline going forward as we lost confidence in this company.

Home Matter just finished our entire basement. The team went above and beyond on everything. We have seen so many wet bars through many sites and the wet bar that was designed and built was absolutely perfect. They beat our expectations. The new bedroom and bathroom are perfect plus their ideas allowed us to keep some of our storage while delivering an amazing product. We enjoyed working with the crew and they always kept us in the loop so we werent in the dark. They were very considerate on the hours and we had no issues with our pet as they block off the basement so our pet didnt wonder. Highly recommend Home Matters for any project.
