Prairie Shibas

We got ours a couple months ago. The breeder did very well with housebreaking and socializing him. He is very smart, playful, lovable, mischief, and stubborn. Be prepared for a fun adventure.

My boy Aki came from Prairie Shibas way back in 2010. He's 12 now and absolutely the shining example of a healthy, loving, boy. He constantly gets comments on how beautiful or handsome he is. One Shiba at a time is enough for me, but I'm absolutely going to get his little sibling from Prairie Dogs. Pam is amazing. And so is Aki!

There may only be but a mere handful of reviews so far for Prairie Shibas but I can 100% guarantee you these are the best Shibas that can be found. They can be trained to fetch, sit, roll over, and they consume large amounts of dog food, in fact, these Shibas eat so much dog food that it can be sometimes hard to contend intellectually with the amount of dog food they scarf down. Prairie Shibas are not only the best Shibas that can be found, but they are also the most voracious eaters. They can consume large amounts of dog food in a short period of time, which can be both impressive and concerning. On the one hand, it is impressive to see how much food these dogs can put away. It is a testament to their healthy appetites and their strong metabolisms. On the other hand, it can be concerning to see how much money some owners spend on feeding their Prairie Shibas. Dog food can be expensive, especially if you are feeding your dog a high-quality diet. If you are considering getting a Prairie Shiba, be prepared to spend a lot of money on dog food. You will also need to be diligent about monitoring your dog's food intake.

Tiffany and Pamela are the absolute best. We got our little guy from them after doing extensive research on breeders in the US, and east to west, theyre tops. They approach breeding shibas from a place of pure love of preserving the breed, and as a fellow lover of shibas, am so happy to know this important task is taken seriously with their careful diligence. You dont have to take my word for it; a little research and youll find that, bar none, their the best. If they dont have any puppies available when youre looking, theyre absolutely worth the wait.
