Comfortable and well decorated with a tasteful blend of historic and modern. Breakfast was on par with a professional chef. Nice quiet small town neighborhood. Outstanding service. Doreen picked me up when I had a flat tire on my bike after dark on a country road. Thank you Doreen! Much better experience and value than a hotel.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Gracious host, beautiful home and room, excellent breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again. Rooms: Very comfortable, quiet. Was perfect.

B&B on Sixth should stand for Beautiful and Best on Sixth! It is a beautiful home with a remarkable host who makes the best breakfast! A friend of mine and I spent five (5) nights in the very homey Castaway Room, whose beautiful private bath was a few steps away. The house is centrally located to downtown York, Interstate 80 and Highway 81. The next time you are in or around York, Nebraska, do yourself a favor, and spend a night or more at the B&B on Sixth!

Doreen is the best Hostess in the (mid)West! The rates are extremely reasonable. My room, the Hemingway, was super cozy and perfect! Private baths are great! The hospitality is amazing! BUT, the Breakfast was out of this world! My mom and I only expected a simple frittata but what we got was great coffee, fresh fruit bowls, French toast with all awesome caramel sauce THEN came the frittata with garden grown chives and tomatoes. Talk about sending you off with a full belly! I've stayed in many hotels from around the world and Doreen's breakfast is by far the best I've ever had! Super Duper Awesome Experience!! Thank you Doreen! Safety: The neighborhood felt very safe. Walkability: The grocery store is nearby and also gas stations.
