3rd Reef Divers

3rd reef was kind enough to squeeze me in to a referral course right before my vacation. everyone from the owners to the instructors were fully knowledgeable and transparent about the PADI process. i had to ask the instructors, andre and mary, to walk through some procedures several times due to my own nervousness, but they remained super patient and thorough. they definitely take safety and diving educationand funseriously. i feel more than prepared to continue my cert on vacation!

Violent windstorm swept a piece of patio furniture into my pool with a glass inlay. I got the wicker piece out but the glass settled on the bottom at the deepest part of the pool(12 feet). The water temperature in the pool is mid 50s. I made several futile attempts and realized that, even wearing a wetsuit, the glass was going to remain out of reach. As a last resort I called 3rd Reef, explained my predicament to Larry, and he graciously offered to come over the same day. Although it took him several attempts, he succeeded in removing the glass insert from the pool with a big smile on his face. When I offered to compensate him for his time and effort he said just leave me a google review. If I had the ability to write a more glowing or favorable review I would. 5 stars is not enough for Larry

Great environment and knowledgeable staff. Needed some equipment inspected/recertify and they were able to complete two days early. Highly recommend them for all your diving needs.

Great shop! Larry helped us with our questions, and we're excited to go on a dive trip with them. Nice, clean shop with good merchandise selection.

In short: Their service dept staff are knowledgeable, friendly, work quickly and have excellent communication with customers. In Detail: I purchased a new regulator from Scubapro a few months back. Out of the box it made a high pitch noice while breathing. I called Scubapro and they told me 3rd Reef Divers was the closet certified repair shop. I called and spoke to Larry who told me to bring it down. Brought my reg in and dropped it off at 10:30 and by noon I got a call back explaining the tests he ran on my equipment and that he had checked my O-rings, seals and lubed the piston eliminating the noise. I was pleased at how friendly and professional the staff was but I was shocked at how quickly they were able to repair my equipment. Even though this shop is located on the other side of town from me I will be taking my equipment there in the future.
