Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa

This was the worst experience at a Hilton I've ever had. It was not clean - I found a false eyelash on the bedside table. It looked like it was in some form of construction. We were charge a $20 "resort" fee when the pool and hot tub were drained, and they couldn't be bothered to pay for the Peloton description. Don't waste your time or money - much better places to stay in Henderson, let alone Las Vegas.

It is a very large hotel, but already somewhat neglected. The pool is under constant maintenance. The gym is missing equipment. And the shops and restaurants around are closed, so there aren't many shopping options. Rooms: Good size. A large bathroom. But neglected, lack of maintenance and the television should be larger.

Great location right on Lake Las Vegas with plenty of free, covered parking in the parking garage. The reason for 4 stars is not every room has a lake view. The attached casino has been shuttered for a number of years as the owner was convicted of money laundering (as I'm told). The rooms are getting "old" and maintenance seems to be behind. For instance, in our room (1744), the shower fixture in was lose making it difficult to adjust the water temperature and the tap at one of the sinks had a constant drip. Caulking was pulling away from the sides. The heavy curtains worked well to keep the room dark, and the a/c wasn't noisy. Service throughout the hotel / bar / restaurant was excellent!

Noteworthy details: The spa was amazing, great massage and facial by Maria will definitely come back. They have an awesome groupon. We also got a local discount. The spa area was closed but they gave us a pass to come back. Will definitely get massage and facial again
