        This is a well marked and easily hiked trail. It was open in April while many of the other trails were closed because of the time of year. It was a beautiful hike and we would do it again. Parking: It can get limited during better parts of the season. This was coming off their winter months and many of the trails were closed. I imagine in another month or two it will be harder to find parking spots for these hikes. Fees: Free

        When it's too hot to hike in Vegas, head to the mountains for cooler temps! Water was flowing pretty good from all the snowmelt. Parking: Parking lot is currently closed (Apr 2024) so just park along the highway and make sure you're not over the line.

        Because of snow, didn't make it to the rock. Went to eagles nest instead. Beautiful day!
