Paramount Tax & Accounting - Las Vegas South

I would leave zero stars if it was allowable. I contacted PT&A to help me with an amended tax return. The process started out good enough. The tax professional Sonya and I had a few conversations to get the data needed for the amended return. Things appeared fine until nearly 4 months later I received a tax document from the IRS stating that I still owed all the money from my amended return. I contacted PT&A multiple times to get assistance. Rachel and Sonya were extremely slow to return phone calls or emails. More than a week went by and Sonya finally contacted me stating that she checked with the IRS and they never received my amended return. It was her sole job to transmit the return to the IRS. She appeared to not be able to do the basic responsibility of a paid tax professional. I attempted to contact the location for nearly another week with no response. I went so far as to send an email to Sonya asking her to print my amended return and mail it in certified mail to the IRS. Still no response. I was so frustrated I had to contact PT&A's sister properties for help. Still no response from Josh, Sonya, or Rachel. I went as far as speaking with one of the higher-level managers within the franchise company. I explained to him my issue and he stated he would reach out to the location and have them give me a call. Guess what still no call no email. This is not a knock on all the franchise locations. I met with reps from another location and they have started to assist me with my amended return and my newest 2021 taxes. They told me indeed the IRS did receive my amended return and it was processing. It took me 10 minutes with the new location to get the pertinent information about my amended return I couldn't get in 3 weeks from the location on S. Eastern Ave. If you hear the names Rachel, Josh, or Sonya run don't stop and find a new PT&A location to do your taxes. I asked for a partial refund based on the horrible service I received. Guess what, no follow-up. Good luck if you pay them to do your taxes.

I am so happy that I found Paramount Tax. Working with them was a fabulous experience. They are very professional! and best of all, it was like taking to a good friend, he help me with my taxes and he answered all of my questions and doubts and took the time I needed to understand my tax questions and concerns in detail! I definitely want to work with them again, I strongly recommend them "Paramount Tax & Accounting" to everybody, great place!!!!

I do not usually post reviews, but I am very angry and want to protect others from being scammed. This address (and I suspect this company) is being used by SoftwareDealsUSA.com and SoftwareDiscountUSA.com purporting to sell discount software. Unfortunately they charge you and provide nothing. They do not respond to requests from their website or emails to "support" and there is no working phone number provided. My credit card company reversed the charge, but it took a while to get my money back. When I read the reviews here it seems that they were all written by the same person. AVOID!

Had a slew of letters from IRS when I first came to them, paramount had everything figured out quickly and efficiently. Saved me thousands. Josh is professional and so savvy. I send everybody I know to them. Highly recommend paramount.

Working with Josh is always a pleasure. He is one of, if not the most knowledgeable accountants that I've met. 10 stars for him & his team. As long as he is around, I have no intentions of going anywhere else.
