Im disappointed I have to write this review. Long review but worth the read if you have the time. We loved this place for several years. Not sure what happened. First the positives: Dr Hussey was our initial doctor for our dog and we really liked her. Weve also taken our cats and that was good care too. Dr Franco good too. Wellness plans are fair. Even sent our family here. Dental for our 2 cats was very expensive for extractions, but we appreciated a 2 payment plan to cover it. However, Both our cats were given a 72 hour lasting topical opioid on the back of their necks without our permission which caused them to be high for 3 days; they wouldnt eat or drink for 3 days and we ended up having to give them subcutaneous fluidsnone of our pets have ever been given that (only pain injections). Towards the end of last year we chose to remove our dogs spleen due to a growing lesion which was high risk for bleeding. A nurse explained the procedure to me over the phone which was fine. However, we never met the doctor who did the surgery, never even spoke to her on the phone after surgery. He was there 2 nights and we went to visit him several times; no vet/doctor ever spoke to usnot after the procedure, not at any followup appointment. All my questions/concerns were mediated through whoever brought our dog into the room (vet tech, kennel worker) and when we asked to be able to speak with the vet, there was always an excuse why he/she were unavailable. They removed one of our dogs organs and we never saw or spoke to a doctor afterwards. Would that be acceptable to anyone?? That was a red flag but we let it go and put our focus on our dogthen the final incident. Last weekend we took our dog in after making an appointment on the app and it was confirmed, they told me my account was inactive for a past due balance from his surgery in October (we paid $3000 up front then a small amount left on payment plan, not sure what happened with that), but No phone call was made to talk to us and they just inactivated our account but they still took out $85/month for his wellness plan since October but inactivated his account?? The focus of the visit had nothing to do with our dogs health or appointment, money was at the top of the list. And Our dog needs trazodone and gabapentin to go there due to severe anxiety and while he was trembling and panting, looking like hes going to have a heart attack, they chose to shame me in front of other customers!! Weve paid this place thousands over the past several years, $4000 alone for the spleen removal. Weve always paid all our bills! And the rest of this bill I will take care of after banking research but it will be the last dime they get from us. We have a lot of pets so theyve lost several customers. We were good customers, never expected anything for free or special treatment and feel we were treated very poorly.

Our female Belgian Malinois Nala has epilepsy. She loves her vet and we feel so comfortable knowing Dr. Hussey is making medical decisions for her. She is usually overexcited around new animals but when we take her to her appt she is calm and oblivious to most other animals.

Update. Espinoza is no longer with Creature Comforts, but Hussey still is, and still is just as great as when we met a while ago. I'll add Justin as a technician worth mentioning. He spent a couple of minutes making my dog feel comfortable. So much so that she seeked him out for more touches. I'm still going here, and I still love this place 10/10 on all counts. Dr. Espinoza and Dr. Hussey, are very knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me so much information about my dog in 1 visit that I had to take notes. My dog has been to 3 vets, and we've been told by them that nothing was wrong. Espinoza called me 2 hours after the visit with comprehensive results. We are now on a treatment plan. I'd like to add that Amanda has also been extremely friendly and helpful at getting appointments for me and accommodating different things like dropping my dog to be seen, etc. Hands down the best experience at a vet in Vegas yet
