    Clean, well maintained medical office. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I was then taken to consultation room, met Dr. Hazelitts assistant Shanel. Doctor came in, friendly listened to my concerns, conversing about medical history getting more information from patient was good. Lab test ordered and she paid attention to details and what I need. I like her and her staff, and Im staying.

    Dr. Hazelitt is an excellent doctor. I used to refer everyone there, however you are going to lose clients if the staff continues to act the way they do. Your voice-mail states a call will be returned by end of business day if you leave a message. No call was received (this has happened on more than one occasion). When I stated this to Cheyenne/Shyanne (not sure of spelling), her response was 'I can't sit here & listen to 40 voicemails & no one else does'. Sometime during the phone call I was told they see Urgent walk in's. I thought this was a great service for my PCP to offer. I explained I was seen at the Urgent Care & was told to f/u with my PCP if imagining was needed or meds didn't work, as this issue was keeping me from working. The only appointment I was offered was well over a week away. When I explained that people DC'd from a hospital or seen at an urgent care are usually fit in when told to f/u with their PCP within a week, I was told they have no openings. I asked for a manager to be questioned about this. Cheyenne stated she spoke with Dawn, NP (there are no managers I was told) & was told there are no exceptions & that there is no room to fit me in sooner than the appointment offered to begin with. When asked again about the Urgent walk in times, I was told that since I'd been seen by UC already (even though what they prescribed might not be working &/or I needed a diagnostic test to find out if something more serious is going on), they may turn me away. When asked on what basis, she explained it would be up to her (the secretary/medical assistant) & the NP. I don't think a medical assistant has the education to determine whether a pt should be turned away or not & a pt probably would not disclose all information to a person sitting in a secretarial position, making appointments. It was repeated to me that she 'can't guarantee you won't be turned away'. If your staff continues to make people feel that their concerns are not important & treat everyone as if they're calling in for a runny nose, you are risking the loss of a good reputation. This secretary was unprofessional. As a 'professional', a better response might have been an apology rather than stating she 'can't sit there' & listen to all the voicemails. I'm highly disappointed with this practice & am considering changing PCPs as this is not the 1st time I've had a problem with the staff. I specifically waited longer one time to book an appointment with Dr. Hazelitt herself as I had a dermatology related issue & was stuck seeing the NP. The only care this practice has been useful for is prescription refills & lab orders, in which I'm never called about but am left to look at & interpret myself by logging on to Quest. Will not be referring anyone here unless this issue is addressed.

    I love how people that are unhappy never use their names I just started with this lady and I've they done nothing but been very nice to me and if they're able to look returning my call I just called back and not make a big deal out of itdid I call back again

    This Doctor is PERFECT. That's why she's so busy ! Bad reviews are coming from SPOILED BRATLIKE people who think they deserve SPECIAL TREATMENT !!! She is GENUINELY interested in people and takes more time with me than any other doctor ever has. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE WHO LEAVE POOR REVIEWS, CAUSING HER TO SHOW A LOW SCORE OF 1 AND 2 STARS which affects her reputation.
