Understanding the approach Matthew Work and his team had taken before ultimately abandoning my case and taking my familys money was a lengthy process. First and foremost, Carlson & Work chose to handle a criminal case despite lacking clear experience in that area. While I acknowledge my poor decisions and the consequences I faced, having Matthew Work represent me proved to be yet another unfortunate choice, resulting in further repercussions. It's worth noting that my public defender performed much more effectively, successfully keeping me out of jail for a nonviolent crime. This stands in contrast to Mr. Work's insistence on the necessity of going to trial, despite probation and alternative sentencing always being viable options. I find it disheartening to witness individuals being recognized and respected despite neglecting their practice and taking advantage of vulnerable individuals, such as my mom, a single mother, with poor English and an 18-year-old mentally unstable son.

I had the opportunity to work with Rebecca Carlson and Nichole in my custody case. They were compassionate, professional, and always told me how it was, even when the news was difficult. I really respect their humble approach to dealing with clients and their willingness to explain things multiple times to make sure I understood exactly what was happening throughout the entire process of my Litigation, if youre in a bind, these are your people!
