I know you want to expand and that is ok with me. My concern is your parking. You are closing a two way street into a one way street. This is not good when you have home owners that have health problems. My bro. that needs medical assistance right across from your church if an ambulance or fire truck needs to come in it is not possible. Jani place is a private street. Last Sunday I tried to tell them this is a private street one man got out and told me no it is not very rude license plate CVLDS. My bro and his family have owned this property for over 50 years. Now if it was your bro. would you do the same in God's eyes. I took pics. of how the street turned into a one way. It is dangerous. and I am concerned. If they have to bring in the media we will. So Please do something about the parking. Thank You and GOD BLESS. Now had the police out here today and was reading on your expansions not once did you mention Leon Drive it was only fifth street well Leon drive is the one that is hurting with your parking and turning it into a one way street, I turned it into the traffic and police. The cop told me well it is only once a month and I told him yea well maybe that day my brother needs assistance, I think I am going to look more in your expanding because what I seen it was only 5th street not Leon Drive. looking more, I go to grace church and there no one parks in the street. They have a lot more congregation than you do. ??????

This church has been here since I was born in the early 70's it's gone through a lot of changes over the years but has been primarily the same for the past 20 years if not longer. My only frustration with this church is that it's followers line both sides of Leon Drive and down the private road on the west side of Jani Place which is owned by the property owners who live on the street. The neighboring residents who live down this stretch of Leon and Jani Place have had to put up no parking signs over the past 6 years in order to keep the followers of this church from blocking their driveways, and from parking on the private road on the west side of Jani Pl. The people who do park there leave their trash on the road, are rude to private property owners when they are asked to move their vehicles and do not seem to care at all about residents in the area being able to safely back out of their driveways. It has gotten to the point that I am going to have to call local news media to the area to bring awareness to this situation in order for attention to be paid to the issue. As property owners we have already made Washoe County aware of these concerns because there is literally no room for emergency vehicles to get to the neighboring properties when this church has Sunday services and other events. I have had to have firetrucks and ambulances to our home twice within the past 6 months and luckily it has not happened at a time when the churchgoers have been present, this will not always be the case. I have documented evidence of this happening and if they continue to park on the private road, we will be starting to have vehicles towed at the owners expense for trespassing on private property, and I will bring local news media attention to this issue and get it brought to the county's attention as it is a public safety issue. Otherwise I have no complaints against the church. They need to provide adequate parking for their followers and respect their community neighbors.
