This was my first time snowmobiling. Coen was the best guide. He ensured our safety and made sure we had fun. The guides are easy going and fun. The backcountry tour was breathtaking through the alpine forest into the snow laden trees. The view of the lake and the surrounding mountains was priceless. We would 100% do this again.

We did a 2 hour snowmobile tour with Zephyr on 3/22/23 and we had a great time. We brought our own snow gear, but if you don't have your own stuff they do rent snow pants, jackets, etc. We had our two kids with us, so we rented two machines and rode doubles. The machines were in excellent repair and were easy to operate, even for someone with no experience. Helmets were provided, and they were also in pretty good shape (padding was still fluffy and they didn't smell or anything). We did the Scenic Lakeview Tour, which wasn't fast or full of thrills, but it was beautiful and scenic. I figure that some groups may ride a little faster, depending on the makeup of the group and their experience level. Our tour guide was Joe, and he was friendly and funny and made us all have a good time.

Horrible communication!!!! They cancelled our snowmobiling tour THREE times. Yes, theres bad weather. We get that. Whats unacceptable is the the lack of communication. They never called or emailed to tell us they were cancelling THREE times. Each time we had to wait outside at our hotel pick up spot. Each time a shuttle came 10 mins late. Each time the bus driver told us they cancelled the tour. Each time they cancelled, they wasted the day we had in Tahoe. And it takes forever to get a hold of their staff to reschedule. Never been to a snowmobile company that cant handle snow or bad weather. At the very least they could update their Twitter or Facebook, but nope that seems to be too much effort for them. Would never work with them or any of their services again!

We booked two snowmobiles for the 4 pm time slot. They asked us to wait at the Harrahs at 3.05 for their bus to pick us up. Waited until 3.30 and there was no bus so we had to drive over there. When we arrived they hurried and put us into a bus and took us to the place where they start the rides. At this point the instructor Eric asked everyone if we were in groups, we said yes and he still separated us into different groups and we had to ask the leader to put us in one group. The ride was fantastic. When we returned to the office to return the helmets a guy at the office was trying to sell us a picture that they took of us in their office which was foto shopped to look like it was taken at the snow. So we asked him how much? He wanted $35 for the doctored photo. Shameless business practices.
