These guys are incredible! 5-star service and work ethic all the way. If you want to support a local company instead of one backed by big private equity (Blackstone owns Servpro -- and a piece of most businesses in America), this is your opportunity. We got 3+ inches of rain in Alton a few days ago. Our basement flooded and had 4-5 inches of standing water.
We had no clue what to do. We were referred to Todd and got a call back right away even though he was getting slammed with phone calls. He talked us through some steps we could take until he could get a team to our house and also told us what to expect in terms of process and cost. The cost was incredibly reasonable.
The team he sent to our house a day later was professional, pleasant and had a remarkable work ethic. They did all the work in a half day and everything is good as new (plus no mold to worry about).
I was an exec for 30 years and a CEO for 10 of those years. I can tell when a business is well run and the employees like each other and what they do. That's the case at FCS. It's no small feat to run a business like that, and it's usually a reflection of the ownership having good character and a whole lot of integrity. If you need water damage restoration and/or mold removal and remediation, these are the guys to call.

When I come to my camp with a major water leak Todd and his crew were quick to respond and gave on the spot advice by phone to me as to what to do until they got there. Followed their advice which diminished the damage and the cost of repair. If you have a fire or water issue Fire Clean-up is who you should call. They dealt with the insurance company answering all their questions and coordinated with the Ins. adjustor meeting them at my camp and maintaining phone contact with them. What a relief to have such a great business to help with such a mess. Their continued contact and crew efficiency made a disaster a lot easier to deal with. We had a flood at our home in New Hampshire and reacted like most homeowners would - shock...deer-in-headlights...get mad...then start figuring out what to do. This whole process was made 1,000 times easier when we were referred to Todd and his team at Fire Clean-Up Services. Unfortunately the water damage was bad enough in our place that very little was salvaged...but the fact that Todd & his team responded and came in the SAME DAY the call was put in and went through the entire process of drying out, throwing out and gutting the first floor of the home without our intervention was amazing. To have had to do this on our own would have taken a year - but Todd's team did their work in about 1-month. We are now ready to look towards rebuilding and the future with a clear mind thanks to Todd & team. They are recommended with confidence!!!!

Sometimes life throws you an unexpected curveball, which is how we came to know Fire Clean-up Services. My husband accidentally left the screen door slightly ajar after BBQing one night, and a skunk ventured in, happily wandering our home until 4 a.m. when it made its way into our bedroom. Our Golden Retriever charged, and the skunk sprayed it, and in 3 different rooms. We thought we'd have to throw out all our clothes and the furniture in the sprayed rooms. We moved out for 3 days when FCS came in; their deionization process completely removed the stink! This was not covered by insurance (skunk insurance?) but the cost to do that was a lot less than buying all new clothes & replacing furniture. So very much indebted to their services and appreciative we've got such a high-quality serviced business in our community. Thanks FCS!
