I had an appointment here to do a Maple Tasting and the owners were a no show. Not even a call or text and my friend and I drove an hour north out of our way to experience this.

Utterly fascinating tour of how tree sap is converted to maple syrup and other products. Brad & Jo Presby explained how time and labor intensive the process was. While you dont see the actual trees that supply the raw ingredient, the rest of the process (and challenges that go with it) are shared. The equipment was all food grade stainless and well maintained. The pride and attention to detail are very evident. As much art of craftsmanship as science of food production. As of this writing, they only asked $5 per person for the tour, you must call ahead. Youll spend far more on product for sale and not regret it, either. Cash/credit cards ok. About two hours duration.
