John Downing was a wonderful contractor. In the fall of 2021, we were dealing with a septic system that needed urgent replacement as we would not have been able to make it through the winter with the current system. John came over to check out our site very quickly and did the groundwork for the job-- new septic plan, getting that approved by the state, etc. He kept us informed every step of the way. By the time the approval came through, John was ready with a crew, all the materials and heavy equipment. The actual job moved quickly. We were informed that we would be without a septic system for a short period during the hook-up process, and that was managed seamlessly. There were no unexpected delays and the system passed the state inspection easily. John did a great job grading the surface of the system and got grass seed scattered just in time for the grass to grow a bit before cold weather settled in. I highly recommend John Downing.
