        A covered bridge with an interesting history. Apparently it was originally a fallen tree that went over the Pemigewasset River. It was transformed into a bridge. Later it was rebuilt and strengthened with metal supports. I was told that this covered bridge is on the State register. The views are great ! The only disappointment is all of the carvings and writing on the bridge. The bridge is a plus on the Flume Gorge trail.
