We just bought our first single family house through HarborOne and it was a truly amazing experience. Most of it because our of broker Sandee Guide, that guided us throughout the Process. Sandee is a very smart, fast, proactive, talented and did everything on our best interest as our fiduciary. HarborOne should be grateful to have Sandee as a member of their team, which is great bank as well. Buying a house, specially the first one can be a little headache, but she gave us the tools and confidence and made the process easier, finding ways and the best solutions for every situation. Honestly a truly great experience. I first went with Norway Savings bank for a construction loan, but the whole process seemed outdated and a bit of a pain. I ended up needing way more money upfront at closing which was not how I had planned it. Because of this I had to put a hold on my plans to build a home for about a year. A friend of mine then mentioned Sandra Guide who worked at Harbor One. As soon as I started the application process it was pretty clear to me how organized and modern their process was. Being a first time home buyer/builder, it was great seeing everything was in one online portal and Sandra and her team were there for any questions. They worked extremely efficiently in getting me a good rate and were always working in my best interest. And the way they structured the loan I didnt even need any cash at closing, in fact I got paid a check at closing to put towards my first few payments due to the value of the land which was great. They also worked well with my contractor which made everything pretty smooth. At signing I was greeted with a gift from Sandra and her team which really was just icing on the cake. Could not recommend them more!
