The Rugged Axe

I had a friend I met online years ago playing video games come up to visit for my wedding. He had lost his sight over the years due to a genitic disorder. We called ahead, asking if we could give it a try, and they were more than welcoming. The owner spent half of our time working with my friend, while his daughter helped for the second half until he was comfortable and able to land a hatchet on the target successfully! I can not speak to how happy I was they were willing to spend the time so he can experience it all safely, and until success! My thanks goes out to this family business for remaining human.

My group rented out the party room which was nicely set up with tables to hang out and 2 lanes of axe throwing. It was cheap to rent out the area and the 2 lanes had projectors that allowed us to play games which was more fun than just the regular target boards. The staff were friendly and the owner showed us how to throw and how to use the computers to play the games. Great place to have a party of 15-20 people.
