My daughter went to Wilson School from K-5. I didn't expect much since this is listed as a Title 1 school and kids don't always do well on the state wide tests. But my daughter excelled and placed average or higher when compared to other students in the state. The teachers seem very attentive and are more than willing to contact me if and when my daughter is having difficulties. I learned from one teacher that she never has a full class and it is not uncommon to have 10 kids absent on any given day. The problem is not the school or the teachers, but rather the parents. I have also have a foster child attending this school and find the same attentive teachers in his classes. The support staff is great as well and even the crossing guards are nice.
