Hi Sean,As a fellow Veteran I mean this in the most respectful way possible…We have some of the best reviews in the area not only because I feel like we have some of the best and most hard-working employees, but also due to the fact that our contracts are so well written, transparent, clear and concise.This review is a gross misinterpretation of the facts…With that being said Sean and I will also attach a section from your contract that you approved… you were not quoted $400 to $600 as you stated, but “ 1: Please be advised, Fall Cleanups and general yard/ labor work are billed hourly at a rate of $80 per man hour with a minimum fee of 6 man hours, ($480.)2: This estimate only reflects the minimum fee associated with all cleanup/ landscaping services.3: Also, please be advised that in some instances the scope of work may not be completed without exceeding the minimum fee of $480 and that in some instances the invoice may reflect a greater total than what this estimate states based on how large and how long the job takes, and also weather conditions.4: If customer would like to implement a spending cap on the labor it is their responsibility to notify A & J LAWN CARE, LLC in writing. But be advised, if implementing a spending cap on the job the full scope of work may not be completed based on the limit of man hours you are limiting us on the property.The amount of leaves in the rear of your property on Cohas Avenue took 2 1/2 hours with that amount of employees because as far as access is concerned we only had one small opening to get all the leaves through to vacuum all the debris up. Also the amount of employees we send to properties is all relevant to the final invoice. If we only provided 2 employees they would have been there well over a day and the final invoice would still be the same. The amount of work that was needed to get your property spotless is what exceeded our minimum fee… and you were also very clear that the employees did a great job.Furthermore, we never canceled on you, sometimes we cannot help if it rains, which is also in our contract, regarding how “services may vary from day today based on the weather conditions and other variables.”I do not require my employees to work in the pouring rain.In over six years in business, and approximately over 700 fall cleanups, we’ve never had a customer not understand the contract and in my opinion if it wasn’t clear enough, you should have reached out to us and we would’ve been more than happy to address any issues or concerns regarding the contract.This negative review has no merit and no reflection on this small business as we have done nothing wrong nor would be unethical or morally unsound.We strictly adhered to the scope of work and completed your fall Cleanup per your request.Again, if any future understanding customers are concerned about Sean’s review feel free to call me directly and we can provide you his contract.We wish you nothing but the best Sean and hope you have a great holiday season.And again, thank you for your service to this great Country. 🇺🇸God bless!~ Jordan Labrie (Owner)
