I just wanted to share what an incredibly positive experience we just has with the entire Villandry Remodeling team. My wife & I had plans to finish our basement and we got multiple quotes. After reviewing the quotes we chose Villandry, because of our positive interactions with them up until that point and their clear, direct answers to our questions. They were not the lowest bid for our job, but it has been my experience many times in the past, that you get what you pay for.
Our project started off normally and on time, but sh*t hit the fan almost right away. While cutting into our foundation to start to prep for a half bathroom, the Villandry team discovered a foundation & drainage issue that was badly mismanaged and essentially covered up by a previous owner of the home. After investigating further and bringing in an engineer for some guidance it was clear that this problem would have to be dealt with, which would blow up both the scope and budget for the project we had initially planned on. Rick, Rich, and Jason were incredibly flexible in pivoting from a basement remodel to a serious basement concrete demo/foundation drainage rehab project. Then they immediately pivoted back once that gigantic hurdle was clear.
Our project is now complete and although it wound up costing way more than we expected because of the foundation issue, we've been so thankful that every step of the way we had a competent, responsive partner on this project. The value for money is through the roof. The workmanship on every phase of the project has been top notch, from the carpentry, to the plumbing and electrical, to the finish work in the final days of the project. These guys are true professionals in every sense of the word. They collaborated with my engineer and even remarked on how they were able to learn from her and from this situation which they had not seen before. I respect the hell out of folks that are always looking to learn and improve at everything they do and this team embodies that mentality.
Their commitment to top quality in absolutely everything they do has been evident in every personal interaction and is clear to see in the beautiful basement they just wrapped up on. We couldn't possibly be more happy with the choice we made. If you value professionalism and quality craftsmanship, you won't lose a wink of sleep working with these guys.

We decided to remodel our pantry, powder room and entire basement. This was a very comprehensive and detailed project. We wanted quality and Rick and Rich delivered and then some. The project entailed removing non load bearing and load bearing walls, new floors, new electrical, new plumbing and new plaster walls. They are one of the few contractors who use plaster walls, which is the best quality. They also offer a professional design service, which was essential to doing the project correctly the first time. Having a 17yr background in the home improvement industry, I have never been so impressed with the thoroughness and communications. They actually use a contract, which eliminates any ambiguity. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. We will never have anyone else do any work for us unless Rick and Rich are coordinating it. Additionally, they were able to deliver a first class retaining wall system around our swimming pool along with a 2500 sf paver patio, which rivals any 5 star resort you will come across. In our basement, they built a world class theater room with a bar and game room. It also has a custom made walk in sauna and steam room. An exercise room with an extra bedroom complete the buildout. Nothing is too large for these guys and you will not be disappointed. To us, there are no other contractors out there to ever use again. I would HIGHLY recommend you have them do your project. You will be 100% satisfied like we are. They treat you like family and are very conscious of the dust and keeping a clean job site. 2021 Townhouse Kitchen Renovation, Manchester, NH
Rick Villandry Remodeling performed our Kitchen/Dining/Living space renovation in spring of 2021. The scope of work involved:
Complete tear out of kitchen and dining areas
First and second floor structural repairs
New lighting and plumbing fixtures
Straighten, reinsulate and plaster walls and ceilings
New interior doors and kitchen window
Finish-in-place hardwood floors throughout
New cabinets and countertops
Expert tile work on backsplash and entryway
Rick, Rich, Jason and all their subcontractors offered expert guidance and communicated effectively. Their experience and attention to important detailsespecially framing resulted in the best possible final result. Demolition was handled cleanly and efficiently by using Zip-Wall dust containment and air filtration. During construction the workspace was organized and left clean at the end of each day. The entire team was respectful and professional. Above all, we love our new kitchen!
