We had them for a full basement remodel, they also upgraded our electrical, HVAC, and added a bathroom. They removed bulkhead and built a stairway to the backyard and a new paver stone patio. The result was gorgeous and the entire project was handled amazing. The whole project finished on time. Working with them was a breeze, very responsive, and always available when we had questions or concerns. Couldn't be happier! Service: Remodeling

Although we are happy with the overall outcome of the esthetics of the remodeling, our experience was less than pleasant. Marcelo and Helen were extremely nice and personable, but the attention to detail wasnt there. The work looks nice but corners are cut. We had 2 major holes put through closets on the opposite side of where they were working, 1 major hole was put through our living room hardwood floor. When caught, Marcelo directed his crew to fix it, well best of their ability. The hole in our closet was just found 6 months later when cleaning out winter clothes to pack away. (See picture attached) this wasnt brought to our attention but there is no way its done on accident and isnt noticed by the crew. Which prompted this honest review. We understand accidents happen but we didnt expect so many accidents especially if left unaddressed or not fixed. Electrical was done just enough to be dangerous and we had another professional come out and fix their work. We had mold and water underneath the remodeled bathroom which was investigated by Marcelo and came to the conclusion his crew was careless in dumping water and the insulation was wet to cause the mold. (They fixed this) We had to have the crew come back because the grout in our bathroom shower wasnt fully filled and Helen directed them to fix it. We found in the attic that the vent for the bathroom wasnt even attached to the exterior vent because it was too short and didnt reach and they just left it. (Again Marcelo made them fix it) It was like babysitting and we were in constant contact with Marcelo about his crew. They used our dehumidifier without asking, and didnt protect our internet modem from dust from the remodeling which then needed to be replaced. It was stressful and we would have paid someone else more just to have it done right the first time without cutting corners and less mistakes to be fixed. AGAIN, lovely design! Helen did a great job, we can tell Marcelo enjoys his work. GOOD people, but unfortunately can not recommend. See the beautiful work attached, with the bad there is also the good. I am really happy with the work done in my Windham condo by MSantos Home Remodeling and I highly recommend them. I had just bought my home 1 year ago and it still had the mid 80's light oak railings of that era, hated it. Looking through Facebook I saw recent work they did that was very similar to what I wanted so I had Marcelo visit days later. Tore up carpets, replaced with modern laminate, replaced stair treads/runners and swapped out the railings. Looks Great! His guys were very conscientious and courteous, I had zero reservations about letting them come and go whether I was home or not. I then had them install subway tiles around the counter I had installed when I first moved in. I am sure that I will have them redo my master bath before very long.
