      image Sparse Rooms, Out of the Way Location, Overworked Employees
      I don't really know what I love most about Extended Stay America... is it the lack of extra blankets? The single drawer that encourages not unpacking? Is it the oddly cold rooms no matter how high you crank the heat? Or the pillows that are all 3 inches too short and almost square? Maybe it's the shelves that don't quite get to the same height?
      The vast selection of public television?
      The lack of in-room coffee?
      The "conditioning" shampoo?
      I really don't know how Extended Stay manages to be less welcoming than a Quality Inn on a bad side of town.
      But here we are.
      This is across the street from a Holiday Inn, that for 20 bucks more a night, would have netted me blankets , normal sized pillows, conditioner, coffee, scrambled eggs, shelves, room decor, and some TV options...
      Don't repeat my mistake: Stay at the Holiday Inn next door.
      Noteworthy details: Movie Theater and Restaurant nearby; 30 minutes from Manchester
