I wanted to write a review for this place first of all because credit is due. My husband and I live somewhat locally in Massachusetts and wanted to get away for the night and go to dinner. We found this room which was a king studio at a very reasonable price especially for a holiday weekend ( NYE into New Year's Day). The main reason for leaving this review is to note how great Amanda was who checked us in when we first arrived. She was finishing up with another woman when I walked in and was very quick, efficient and friendly. She was very kind, informative and caring when checking us in. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and this goes a long way! The room was perfect for us, very clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a great time..we also took Amanda's recommendation to try Tuckers for breakfast, they are amazing, sourcing they're ingredients from local farms and businesses. It was close to the best breakfast and coffee we've had....ever.

They will steal your Security deposit! Before checking out they told me I would hear from them within the month about receiving it. After about a month and a half I started trying to contact them about, sending 3 emails over a month time period, all of them were ignored.

A good place at a reasonable price. Clean rooms. The rooms are decorated in Italian style. Good dishes, good kitchen equipment. But, in the corridors and the room there is an unpleasant smell from the carpet and upholstered furniture. I think this problem is related to the possibility of placing animals in rooms. Overall, we were satisfied with the service. With best wishes.
Rooms: Change the carpet, eliminate the smell of pets in the rooms, update the painting of walls and doors.

The Ritz this hotel is not, but what it is, is a clean, nicely appointed hotel/motel with clean rooms, very polite staff (thank you Michelle) and a bed that was extremely comfortable. Recommended if you're working in the area for a few days/weeks.
