Offered to send pics for the difficult item i have to move, they weren't even interested. So when i asked what happens when you get here and realize you can't do it since you're movers aren't necessarily that experience. I'd still end up being charged the BASE fee for every job $308 for 2 man crew, charge for the vehicle, travel to get from Merrimack to Hudson (oh a whole 1-2 gallons of gas so what's that maybe $10 max?) plus their minimum is 3 hours despite the fact this job will take experienced movers no more than 30 mins and the houses are of a mile apart, from 55 to 45 on same road. It gets better, IN ADDITION to $308 you then have to pay additional amount for their work because the minimum 3 hours doesn't cover their work. HUGE RIP OFF. None of the other moving companies I've spoken to charge to get TO the house the items are being moved from. They don't demand a minimum hour fee. They charge by the hour, based on the item and difficulty, and mileage between houses. Which allows me to tip each mover $100 each but not college bound movers, they set out from jump to overcharge in a major way adding all kinds of fees none of the other places do. Not even the ones that weren't in my top 3! I've spoken to 10 other places, and I'm down to 3. ALL 10 others looked at the pics, 2 came out to determine if they could do it for which they charge nothing how. I tipped them $50 and their quotes ranged from $170-$220 (from all 3 and no one was above $250 total no additional chages) They all definitely wanted the pics and or have come out to see the issue with the 2nd floor in the house &the bureau so i won't be wasting money because they've all said they're able to get it upstairs around the corner of the landing by standing it up without damaging the bureau or walls If you want to OVERPAY for a company that DOES NOT CARE if you are satisfied and has no problem taking your money for zero services PLUS PRICE GAUGING compared to their much more experienced competitors this is the place for you. When i told the guy who called, i wasn't comfortable going with a company who isn't even interested in seeing the pics of the stair, hallwayz corners and bureau in order to determine & give me a better answer about being able to complete the move (better than we won't know till we get there and you will still be charged $308) combined with the fact the 4 other companies i spoke to provided quotes after reviewing all detailed pics (plus the 2 that came coming out free of charge to provide a definitive answer) combined with the fact their estimates were $140-$200 less for the ENTIRE JOB he got extremely rude nasty and hung up on me as i was still talking. As if it was my fault i was making an obvious intelligent decision. Maybe he should have been pissed at himself for losing a job because he and his company is lazy clearly they have zero business cause they available to do the job as quickly as tomorrow. Even companies who didn't advertise no job is too small priced it at 23% lower and guaranteed or if they could t guarantee it would pay NOTHING which is definitely better than wasting $308 for no work since they're too frigging lazy to look at pictures which doesnt take much effort. Any place cares more and will always be at their price. Once they tell u what each charge is for it's a no brainier to go elsewhere Stay away

Dan shattuck, Jon Emerson, and Shawn Burrus were amazing!! They called before they showed up to my house, were punctual, very respectful. They got right to work loading both of my pods. They were fast efficient and filled them to brim and handled all of my belongings with care. My wife and I were amazed at how well they operated and we feel 100% comfortable that our stuff was handled and packed tightly and with care for our cross country move to Texas! I would 10/10 recommend this company to anyone looking for movers to either pack pods or move you locally or anywhere!

I highly recommend College Bound Movers. They are fast, careful and very courteous. We had Chris pickup and deliver our containers and Ezma, Dakeem and Frank help unload onsite. Nothing broke and the house was clean, despite the yard being a mud pit on moving day. This was by far the best moving company Ive ever worked with.
