This past December I was charged with driving under the influence, but what the officer assumed wasnt the whole story. That week I had been getting over a pretty bad cold, and right before I left for work that morning I had taken a dose of cough medicine. The officer pulled me over and said I was going a little fast; I must have looked groggy from my cold because he then asked me if I had been drinking. I obviously wasnt, it was 7 am and I was going to work! After some back and forth he asked me to take a breathalyzer and he said there was in fact traces of alcohol in my system, BUT IT WAS FROM THE COLD MEDICINE! I knew what he was accusing me of wasnt right, so I want to Attorney Justin Shepherd. Upon first entering his office, the receptionist was extremely polite and welcoming. Then when I went in with attorney Shepard, I explained the whole situation and he assured me that he could help me right this situation. With ease he ripped the States case apart!
