Cruise America RV Rental

I booked an RV a week in advance. I was told on the phone I would be picking it up in North Hampton, MA. Turns out, as I was doing a final check TWO DAYS before the trip, they meant North Hampton... NH. Which is 5 or 6 hours out of the way! -They would not move it -They would not refund the deposit They found a vehicle of similar size in Worchester for only $25 more... BUT THEN THEY BOOKED IT FOR MORE THAN 2X THE ORIGINAL PRICE!! So at this point I said screw it, if the customer service is this bad, I don't even want to see the RVs and cancelled the entire trip. Still didn't get my $300 deposit back that I was supposed to as well!

Our entire trip with an RV from cruise America was ruined. As we were on the way to a very important graduation a tire caused us to swerve on the interstate and we became stranded once finding out the entire tire failed. Due to the company not properly maintaining the vehicle we were left with both the bearings and the spindle completely broken and we were stranded. We were referred to a mechanic who informed us if we had gone any further the entire tire would have popped off. Cruise America representatives seemed almost incompetent in the situation and were very resistant to paying for the mechanic or our hotel for the night while it was in the shop. Once we were finally able to leave only about 200 miles later a warning came up on our dash alerting us of another issue and during this call to the number provided we were written off. Upon further inspection the RV had once again failed, this is not to mention the wind deflector which almost immediately fell off after we had begun driving.
