Harrison Dental Arts - Dentist in Portsmouth

After researching dentists for a while, I can honestly say I can see why Dr Harrison has received numerous Best Dentists in NH awards. From the first visit to now (4 visits later). Dr Harrison runs an impressive office. The ladies up front are welcoming and very helpful. Hygienist Kim is awesome. And Dr Harrison listens and makes you very comfortable and provides excellent care. If you are looking for a dentist in the Seacoast area - I highly recommend a call to Harrison Dental Arts.

I visited Harrison Dental Arts yesterday the 1st of April. Dr. Harrison is a true artist as the name of her practice implies. she filled in a space between two molars to prevent food particles from lodging there. It works like magic. No more picking of my teeth to dislodge those pesky food particles. My quarterly appointment was Monday the 11th of Mar 2024. Couldn't have been better. The cleaning and exam were performed flawlessly. The dentist suggested that I might consider a build up on one of my molars to prevent food particles from getting lodged between the two teeth. By the time I finished my exam, the quote was ready for review. I'm going to have the work done since my cost was only $69.60. I just returned from Dr. Harrison's office at 875 Greenland Rd in Portsmouth. I went in for a crown on a top back molar and the work was exemplary. She is a consummate professional while still treating me as a person Vs. just a patient. I have another upper molar with a damaged crown, but she explained that while the crown had been damaged it still is performing its function and protecting the tooth. It really doesn't need to be replaced at this time. Again, putting the patient first. Also, the cost of the crown was significantly lower than I've found elsewhere. She has extensive experience in general dentistry and restoration and embraces the importance of the ecstatics in dental work. I've had many dentists in many towns. She is by far the best I've experienced. Just returned from my cleaning/exam today 5-27-2020. A full set of x rays were taken and a full assessment of my teeth, gums and underlying bone. Then a full cleaning and exam. What makes Dr. Harrison stand out from all other dentists in my experience is her willingness to explain the health of my teeth and also what I need to improve my dental health. She took digital photos and added them to my record and used them to explain any issues with my teeth. Also, she displayed images of my xrays and again explained any potential problems going forward. I am now more motivated than ever to improve my dental health. Her use of technology to highlight issues, personality and professionalism in my opinion are unparalleled. I had a crown installed on last Tues the 5th of Sep. Dr Harrison is a true artist. The crown was perfectly smooth and the bite meshed seamlessly. Better than the original tooth.

Recently moved from MA, first visit, oral examination. IMPRESSED! Thorough/comprehensive and pleasant. From the front office professionals Jess and Meghan to Susie and Brianna the Dental Assistants, Becky the Dental Hygienist and of course Dr. Jill Harrison after nearly 40 years with one Dentist I found my new local practice. If youre interested in a 5 Star experience I STRONGLY recommend you schedule an appointment!
