    The best visit I ever had. Started with the check-in to the tech, Dr, to the hygienist. I felt like I was the only one there. Went to financing and she also took her time and went over all the charges. The Portsmouth NH office is top notch.

    I wish I wasn't moving 1000 miles from here because this is the best dental experience I've had so far. My connective tissue disorder makes it difficult to have a positive dental care experience. I had two cavities because I hadn't had proper dental care in a while (lack of insurance). The less severe cavity was the one I found, which is why I went in. I'm glad I found it because the other one was out of sight and further progressed. During the fillings, the left side of my face would not go numb at all. This issue has resulted in many painful operations at other dentists' offices. But my dentist here was very patient, didn't get frustrated with me, and made 100% sure I was numb before continuing. I think he had to target a nerve cluster in order to successfully numb me, which is a last resort sort of thing due to how widespread and prolonged the numbness is. This was the numbest I've ever been during a procedure. I didn't even realize it was possible to not feel anything at all when getting your teeth drilled. I think he even noted on my file that this was the way my left side needs to be numbed so that I (and my next dentist) will be saved the trouble of failed injections. In addition to that, he was attentive, personable, patient, gentle, and truly interested in finding a way to make my experience a good one. I wish all medical professionals emulated his dedication to his patients and his eagerness to learn about different kinds of patients. If you have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and a horrible history with dentists, this guy is fantastic. I really wish I remembered his name; if Aspen wants to look me up and reply with his name that would be fine by me. Patients with my condition are a nightmare to work on, honestly, in every field you can think of. But dental work is especially hard for us. I am so grateful that this man was patient enough to continue working towards making me comfortable despite how much time and energy my appointment took to get done correctly.
