    With the shortage of hygenists, it was great to have my appointment today and then find out it was Dr. Santana doing the cleaning. That's dedication to her patients. Been going here for such a long time and have not had a bad experience!!

    Started out okay, but the customer service continually kept getting worse (whenever an issue came up, it was always somehow my fault?). I got different messages from multiple personnel there and was pushed/HIGHLY encouraged to do many extensive ortho treatments (teeth aligners, tongue tie removal, tongue tie rehab -- much not covered under insurance or still very $$$$$) and then we were shamed for not getting them all done or done at once, which is beyond insane. Additionally, our insurance switched while we were there and now we're potentially on the hook for this ortho bill that they didn't explain we would be responsible for after paying off the procedure. Absolutely would not recommend.

    I have seen Dr Santana before for years and want back in 2023 for some more work. My primary health Insurance had always covered dental benefits which had not been an issue before. This time around, Dr. Santana is no longer in network with my primary health insurance. Therefore, nothing was covered anymore. They purposely did not inform me that my primary health insurance did not cover anything and that I would be responsible for all the charges. They told me they are under no obligation to inform me of this. They also tell me that pre-submitting benefits can take months. They are simply putting the blame on me. But they fully took advantage of my trust and past experiences and now for three visits they intentionally lied and withheld that information from me. I had my first visit in April of 2023 for a cleaning. I had to return for a second visit in May of 2023 for an oral examination because Dr Santana was not onsite at the time of my first visit. My third visit was in June of 2023. Once this last visit finished, they told me I owed around $652 back then from the first two visits. I happen to have secondary dental insurance, but they have not submitted claims to them yet. I asked them to submit the claims to my secondary dental insurance and left the office thinking both of my insurance would cover all the charges as years prior. Days after my third visit, I got a bill that is now over $2,359. I called them alarmed and this is when they finally told me on the phone that the office is no longer in network with my primary health insurance, and I am responsible for all remaining charges now. They deceived my years of trust, and I was hearing that for the first time. Once again, they put the blame on me because it is not their policy to review coverage ahead of time. Thankfully my additional dental insurance covered $743.80 of my treatments and now the bill is $1615.20. I called and asked for a reevaluation because they failed to inform me of the new situation. They did not care, and continued to recite their deceiving, predatory and surprise billing policies, and practices. That office is now threatening to send me to collections for a $1,615.20 bill.
