Let me start with I am NOT one to submit negative reviews typically, look at my history if you doubt that. This review is on behalf of someone else, if this was my personal experience, I would have a team of lawyers finding a way to recoup my losses after having dealings with this organization. To start with, my friend that purchased a home through this agency back in September (both her agent and the selling agents are part of it) and she has already had to spend at least $10,000 to make the unit livable. The whole sale process was very rushed, with an inspection with her preferred home inspector being thoroughly discouraged (by both her agent, and the selling agents, both of the aforementioned agency) as there were MANY potential buyers in line for the property, or so they claimed. She heeded the advice of her agent and trusted the sellers that water testing was done and the home was livable...BIG mistake. Immediately after moving in, and having water testing done, she found out she needed a $5,000 water softening system installed, as the pH was SO low it was destroying all stainless fixtures, which now need to be replaced. The water was also LOADED with iron and sediment, which the selling agents said would clear up with running it, as it was a new well...not the case. I could go on and on about the out of pocket expenses she's incurred since closing on the property, but it would be redundant. The whole process smacked of fraudulent dealings, and potential "sweethearting" as the agency in question represented both the buyer and seller(s). Do yourself a favor, if you're in the market for a home listed at less than $500,000 (the condex was listed at $349,000), steer WELL clear of this shady agency. Oh, on a footnote, I was hesitant to even write this review, but it has just come to my attention that the recent purchasers of the unit attached are having ALL of the same issues as my friend, so that solidified my decision to post this. And I also reached out to the agency, and was basically told that due to the unprecedented boom in the market, it happens, and that my friend was s*** out of luck, and now approaching $20,000 of her hard earned money, because apparently The Bean Group is in the habit of taking advantage of first time home buyers. Lesson learned, will NEVER use this agency again.
