The bridge is open to both passenger vehicles and pedestrian traffic. It has been ''red" listed by the State of NH's Department of Transportation due to its condition. It has been made one lane as a compromise since the State says it doesn't have the $ for all of the repairs needed for the"red "listed bridges in the State of NH. A makeshift walking area has been set up for pedestrians. It has a great view of the Lamprey River and the Scenic Nursery. Only standard passenger vehicles are allowed. There is a 3 ton weight limit. You have to stop on one approach to the bridge while the other side, Break on through to the other side! Break on.. oops! Sorry !, has a yield sign.

Raymond's oldest Bridge. Very historic. Worth a visit. Very scenic. Views of Lamprey River. Historic buildings nearby. The abutments date to the mid 1700's. The deck is newer. It is still open to traffic. It is narrow and has a weight limit, so be cautious.
